During his two-months research stay, Elias Moser explored the topic of "Workplace Democracy in Times of the Gig Economy." He examined how the rise of short-term jobs, as found in the gig economy, affects the rights and power of workers. His research aims to understand if the way businesses typically organise work is changing and how this might impact the fairness and freedom within the workplace. This important work sought to sheds light on the new challenges workers face and the possible future of their roles in a fast-evolving job market driven by technology and temporary positions. The research environment at Uni Andes provided a fertile ground for Moser's work on the topic. The research stay was coordinated with the active support of Prof. Carlos A. Manrique.

During his research stay at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Lukas H. Meyer contributed the paper "Intergenerational Justice in the Context of Climate Change" to a workshop on "Intergenerational Ethics and Climate Justice" hosted by the Philosophy Department. Among the other contributors were Prof. Milene Consenso Tonetto, André Luis Lindquist Figueredo, Prof. Darlei Dall'Agnol, and Prof. Alessandro Pinzani (all UFSC).

Meyer actively participated in meetings and discussions with doctoral students of his host, Prof. Pinzani, as well as with colleagues from the UFSC Philosophy Department and several international visitors.

During his visit, Meyer reviewed Carlotta Garofalo's dissertation "Activists, Lawyers, and Courts as Agents of Change: A Comparative Study of Climate Lawsuits Against States in Europe and Latin America", graded student papers, evaluated European research projects, and co-led the organisation of a workshop "Intergenerational and Global Justice: Approaches, Challenges, and Responses" to be held at the University of Graz in September 2025. Among the speakers will be Prof. Marcelo de Araujo of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

He devoted most of his time to research on climate justice and environmental ethics, and contributed to several interdisciplinary research project applications. Among these were: "Historical Responsibility in Carbon Dioxide Removal, Adaptation, and Loss & Damage" (in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Graz, IIASA, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Humboldt University, and University College Cork) and "Protecting the Interests of Future Generations in an Ageing Europe" (with partners at the University of Graz and various European research institutes and universities, including Demos Helsinki / Demos Research Institute, the Sant' Anna School of Advanced Studies, and Leuphana University)
